AMAZING! YORK, NEBRASKA LUTHERAN SCHOOL COMES TO VISIT FOR FULL DAY TOUR A THE WORLD-FAMOUS MISSION CENTRAL!!
by Gary Thies (AKA Old Missionary Gary)
On Tuesday the 29th of October a very large motor coach arrived at the parking lot of the Lord's Mission Central promptly at 10:30AM...a ride of about 3 hours from York, Nebraska!
This group of young people were led here by the Pastor of Emmanuel Lutheran Church there in York, Nebraska....the Honorable Missionary Pastor Ben Kaiser! What a wonderful day and what a wonderful group of students. The first order of business was the gathering in the bus upon arrival, where Old Missionary Gary and Co-worker, Rev. Steve Schulz swore in everyone on the buss as missionaries for the REST OF THEIR LIVES! A special prayer on the bus began the day that the Lord would bless this days events in a way that every one of the students would never forget this special tour day for the rest of their lives!
The group then moved to the Ministry Center, where a special presentation was given to point out the amazing pictures contained on the wall of the Center! The entire group then was led by Rev. Schulz to the Creation Theater, the Resurrection Spot where old Missionary Gary will be sleeping, and then to the Barn Museum.
Then the group came back to the Ministry Center where the entire group had their sack lunches for the noon meal. Then a final special power-point program was given by Old Missionary Gary to show the entire group the people of Papua New Guinea and East Africa! It indeed was a day that these new missionaries will NEVER, NEVER FORGET!
