8th grade is having a fundraiser for their end-of-the year trip to Camp Luther! They will be walking around to local businesses on October 24th, so if you want them to stop by when they are out and about, let us know!

No School on Monday or Tuesday, Oct. 16 & 17 - our teaching staff is attending the NE District Lutheran Educators Conference this weekend. We hope to see everyone at Arby's on Tuesday for supper and then back to school on Wednesday the 18th!

Students from Fourth Grade had a lot of fun at Ag Fest on Tuesday! They learned about so many aspects of agriculture in our community and states. The kids got to make butter, eat locally raised popcorn and feel the inside of a cow's stomach! (Everyone expect Mrs. Stutzman!)

Join us this morning for Chapel led by our students in 7th Grade. Chapel offerings are now going to support Operation Christmas Child. Look out for more information from your child's classroom teacher on packing shoe boxes as a class.
Parent Teacher conferences are on Thursday from 1:30-7:30 pm. School will dismiss at 1pm that day - there will be no bus. No school on Friday, Oct. 6th. There IS school on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 9 & 10 but since YPS is out of school there will be no bus service.
