🌟 Meet Mr. Howe! 🌟
We're thrilled to welcome Mr. Howe to our Emmanuel-Faith family as our new 4th grade teacher! 🎉🍎 This is his first year teaching, and he’s especially excited to be teaching at the very school he attended as a child. 🏫💙
Jacob graduated from UNK with degrees in Elementary Education (K–6) and Special Education (K–12). 🎓📚 His path to the classroom includes experience as a substitute teacher at EF, as well as time spent in afterschool and summer programs in both York and Kearney. ☀️✏️ And teaching runs in the family—his mom taught 4th grade at EF from 2010–2012! 👩🏫
Family is very important to Mr. Howe. ❤️ Most of his family lives in York, and he’s the oldest of three brothers. 👦👦👦 His mom is an active member of #TeamEF too—serving as the school board president and as a sub. Coming back to York was an easy choice for someone so rooted in both family and faith. 🙏🏡
In his free time, he enjoys watching movies 🎬, solving puzzles 🧩, playing piano 🎹, and spending time with his family. 👨👩👦👦 We’re so excited to have Mr. Howe teaching and mentoring our 4th graders—join us in welcoming him to the team! 🎉✨

Our 4th Graders enjoyed the annual Pollinator Day held on May 6th with all the schools in York. Thanks to the Nebraska Pheasants Forever Corn Country Chapter and all the other volunteers who help with the event each year! #community

6th to 12th grade, join the Emmanuel Youth Group for our End of School Bash next Wednesday, May 14th!!!!
We will meet at Emmanuel in the East lot at 5pm and drive to Geneva. Make sure to get a signed permission slip (available at the church or EF office)! We will provide pizza and $10/student for activities. Each activity ranges from $0.25-$5. Students may bring extra money. We will return to the church at 8pm.
